Welcome to Retro Wars a weekly podcast series where myself and a friend talk about the games we used to play when we were kids. We will cover games from a range of consoles from the NES to the PS3. This show is for adults only. I would love for you guys to be part of the show. Mario RPG - Legend of the Seven Stars, a hidden classic which a lot of the world never got to play including me. I finally got to play the remake and as it is a pretty much a one for one remake for the SNES game. I had a blast playing this and my guest, Captain N, brought me along to one of his favourite games.

Wario, the loveable oaf. Ever since his debut back on the GameBoy, he has been a ever present figure in the Mario universe. Fast forward, Wario Land 4 was his debut game on the Game Boy Advance, and this marked the first time I had played the game.

I remember when I first saw this game, I instantly thought...GUNDAM....IT'S A GUNDAM. I have begged for Gundam games to be like this. But for now, let me just enjoy what we have here, Zone of the Enders. I have regularly been told, play the second, the second is better. This may be true but I want to make sure we cover the first before we dive into that one.

After a week off due to illness, the show is back, and back with a banger in Castlevania - Aria of Sorrow. I got to play this whilst I was ill last year in hospital. I was asked by this weeks guest, Chris Coplien from the Retro Hangover podcast.
The dream of this show is that I get to play games I have never played before, and Aria of Sorrow is one of them. I had a ball playing this, and call me a fan.

A few weeks ago, I attended PAXAUS for the first time and had an amazing experience. It was unlike anything I had been to before. It was a gaming home if you will. I went down with the family and met a load of new people, and it is time to tell you all about it.
I talk about what I saw, what I did, who I met and some of the amazing games I played.

Fire Emblem is getting it's debut on the show in the form of Sacred Stones. I went through a blitz for a lot of Fire Emblem games, and this was the first one I decided to cover.
