Welcome to Retro Wars a weekly podcast series where myself and a friend talk about the games we used to play when we were kids. We will cover games from a range of consoles from the NES to the PS3. This show is for adults only. I would love for you guys to be part of the show. Fire Emblem: Awakening, my first ever Fire Emblem game. The one that started it all for me. Going back to it again after all these felt so good. This game put the series on the map in the West turning it into the juggernaut it is today.

Time to go on a large adventure with a little mouse. Mina the Hollower, the newest game from Yacht Club Games is now out on all platforms. I was very lucky to receive a review copy of the game, and had the chance to sit down with Nick Woznick and David D'Angelo from the team. I really believe this game will be up there come awards season but remember this game is hard.....very hard.

I am BATMAN. One of the best lines ever spoken, and today, I play the cape crusaders first appearance on the NES. I had heard this was a difficult game but I decided I wanted to have a challenge. The question is, did I finish this and beat the Joker?

It is time for the final fight.....in chibi form. Yes, we are talking Mighty Final Fight for the NES. A game I never knew existed because it came so late in the NES' life. Still one of the weirdest names for the video game, it is Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III - The Manhattan Project on the NES. I had never played this prior to this podcast and this saddens me because it is a great game. The turtles are on the quest to save Manhattan from being lifted from the ground...yes it is odd.
