Welcome to Retro Wars a weekly podcast series where myself and a friend talk about the games we used to play when we were kids. We will cover games from a range of consoles from the NES to the PS3. This show is for adults only. I would love for you guys to be part of the show. There are some games I love, there are some I hate. This is definitely one I hate, Breath of Fire for the Super Nintendo. A lot of people have told me it is a great game full of charm and an RPG for the ages. My guest, Captain N thinks so, where he goes to bat and tries to survive on that hill of us. Despite my feelings towards Breath of Fire, we had a lot of fun recording this episode and I hope you enjoy it too.

Tekken 8 has just been released to postive reviews, so I thought what better time to discuss me some more Tekken. This week, myself and Jake Macauley, are talking about Tekken Tag Tournament, a release title for the PlayStation 2. Some call it just an upscaled Tekken 3....and....that game was awesome. Namco had a classic in this one for sure.

Get your tanks ready, we are going into war....an Advance War...s. Yes, Advance Wars on the GBA. It was another new one for me but I wish I had played this earlier. I love a good tactical RPG and this fits the bill.

I was in love with the Power Rangers when I was growing up, I could not get enough of them. The games however, had a lot to be desired. I was asked my by guest, Lyndsey Norris, to play the game boy version which made up part of her childhood. Question is, is it any good?
