Welcome to Retro Wars a weekly podcast series where myself and a friend talk about the games we used to play when we were kids. We will cover games from a range of consoles from the NES to the PS3. This show is for adults only. I would love for you guys to be part of the show. Final Fantasy is back in the focus with the release of 16, so I decided to cover Final Fantasy X with my friend R9 Beats. I remember when this game came out and it blew my mind. The colours that came out of the screen, the music, and the story of Tidus and Yuna was beautiful.

There are always imitators, some are good, some are bad, but then there is Digimon. Digimon is always considered the biggest imitators, if not the biggest imitator of Pokemon. As well as an anime, they have cards and games. I wanted to look at their first game, Digimon World on the PlayStation One.

We reach the end of out Street Fighter celebration looking at Street Fighter 4, the game which possibly saved the genre. I played this game so much that my fingers were black and blue. It has taken a while, but finally, I am covering an Metroid episode, and it is one of my favourites, Metroid Prime. I bought this day one and finished it one hundred percent. I recently played the remaster and I loved it so much. Ahh my nostalgia blanket. Joining me this week, is Adam from The Good, The Bad and The Backlog, and my word....what a man this man is.
